Built at the Royal Huisman Shipyard, this 40m ketch was constructed using Alustar aluminium. Rhoades Young were commissioned to design the interior for this Bill Dixon designed yacht.
The interior design utilises 1930’s references within modern styling, using a rich palette of textured leather wall panels, furniture finished in contrasting grains of French walnut, and bronze highlights. The attention to detail can be seen in the discrete furniture detailing which gives a clean and simple appearance.
In 2005 Antares won the International Super Yacht Award for Best Sailing Yacht over 36m.
