Paula Rosa was produced after Rhoades Young Design were initially approached to design the interior for a 45m sailing yacht. Paula Rosa was created to fill the need of the owner as a smaller craft created in a quicker time-scale to be used until the launch of the larger yacht.
Lightweight construction was paramount; the interior joinery was built using composite panels whilst giving the impression of solid construction. Large sliding windows at the rear of the saloon and generous steps mean those in the cockpit have direct eye contact to those in the saloon, connecting the interior and exterior spaces and making it feel like on open area.
