Rhoades Young Design have been commissioned to undertake the interior design of a 111ft  (33.9m) sloop, soon to be launched from Spirit Yachts in Ipswich, U.K. With naval architecture by Sean McMillan at Spirit and project management by Max Riedl at Cornelson & Partner.

The centrepiece to the interior is a unique 2-piece wooden seating area in the saloon, constructed from steam-bent walnut batons individually shaped to the asymmetrically curved timber frame.  Between them, these two pieces represent over 2000 man hours for the build process, owing to their complex design.

Other features of the interior include twisting surfaces which are emphasised by soft lighting features, a vellum-lined ‘infinity’ corridor that disappears from view without end, and cacoonlike bed enclosures.
